Prophet & Stoltz - Podfathers of Soul Battle Somewhere Between Memphis & Stonehenge

ATT: PODCAST NATION - this just in from the home office somewhere between Memphis & Stonehenge:

Chuck Prophet and Kelley Stoltz the new Podfathers of soul?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not bloody likely! However, no vinyl was sacred as our two wannabe DJ's, Chuck Prophet and Kelley Stoltz faced off on the wheels of steel the other night at the Argus Lounge in San Francisco in the first of a series of time delayed live Podcasts from the ring. The main event was simple: Chuck and Kelley to flip a coin-- the loser goes first. Strictly vinyl. At 8:30 sharp, Kelley dropped the needle on mystery song number one and Chuck had 3 minutes to dig out a follow up from his personal crate. Back and forth they traded vinyl punches into the wee hours.

At CP inc. they have buried the mythical info-tainment experience on the web like a 136 megabyte bone that you can dig up and gnaw on. Intimate as a car crash; downloaders will hear in one corner Kelley spinning out anglofied folk while in the other Chuck fighting back with some deep fried southern soul. Go on and dig it yerownself. The result is a gut-level, revealing exploration of pain and hard-won wisdom, relevant even to the most casual observer of game.
